Meet the Founder
Founded in 2024 by Nusirat “Naz”, The Chair was created to redefine what a textured hair salon experience should be.
With over 10 years in the beauty industry, beginning as a make-up artist for Estée Lauder and a hairstylist under her independent brand NsTouch, Naz has witnessed firsthand the transformative power of beauty. Not just externally, but internally.
Over the years, women from all walks of life passed through her chair. Business owners. Professionals. Women navigating life transitions. And while they came for beautiful styles, many left wanting something deeper. Guidance, education and real support in caring for their natural hair beneath their protective styles.
The Chair was born from that need.
At The Chair, our team specialises in kinks, coils and curls, combining technical knowledge with intentional care to ensure your hair is not only styled, but healthy, maintained and understood.In a market where textured hair is often overlooked, we focus on retaining length, reducing dryness, and protecting the integrity of your natural hair, whether you choose protective styles or wear it out.
