Welcome to The Chair Salon London Ltd. These Terms & Conditions govern the use of our website, salon services, online store, appointments and purchases. By accessing our website, booking an appointment or purchasing products from us, you agree to the terms outlined below.

2. Appointments & Bookings

Appointments can be booked online, in person or through our booking system. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment and will be deducted from your final balance. Clients are responsible for booking the correct service and selecting any required add-ons at the time of booking. Failure to select required add-ons may result in insufficient appointment time and additional services being unable to take place. If you are unsure which service to book, we strongly recommend booking a consultation or contacting our team prior to booking.

3. Appointment Preparation

Hair should arrive freshly washed and blow-dried unless a wash service or treatment has been booked. Previous styles, including cornrows, must be removed prior to your appointment unless a takedown service has been added to your booking. All brand-new closures, frontals and wigs must be dropped off or posted to the salon at least 5 days prior to your appointment to allow adequate preparation time. Late drop-offs will incur a £35 late preparation fee.Please ensure your full name and appointment date are clearly labelled inside your package. We strongly recommend using a tracked delivery service. Previously used closures and frontals do not require advance drop-off.

4. Hair Extensions & Hair Orders

Hair extensions can be supplied for your appointment with sufficient notice. All hair orders must be placed through our website at least 72 hours before your appointment. Orders placed outside of this timeframe may incur a £40 priority sourcing fee. For braid appointments, only X-Pression or French Curl braiding hair is supplied. Alternative colours must be requested in advance. Boho curls must either be purchased via our website ahead of the appointment or supplied by the client. Due to hygiene reasons, all hair extension sales are final unless deemed faulty under applicable consumer protection laws.

5. Online Orders, Shipping & Delivery

We aim to process and dispatch online orders within the stated timeframe on our website. Delivery times may vary depending on courier delays, demand periods or external circumstances beyond our control.Clients are responsible for ensuring all shipping information provided is accurate. The Chair Salon London Ltd is not responsible for orders shipped to incorrectly provided addresses.Tracking information will be provided where applicable.

6. Returns & Exchanges

For hygiene and quality assurance reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges on hair extensions, wigs or opened hair products unless the item is faulty.Any issues regarding faulty products must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.Returned items must remain unused, unopened and in original condition where applicable.

7. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

We kindly request a minimum of 72 hours’ notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations, missed appointments or no-shows will result in the loss of your deposit and require 50% of the service balance to be paid. A £15 late fee is applied if you arrive more than 15 mins late. If you arrive significantly late to your appointment, we reserve the right to shorten, amend or cancel the service where necessary.

8. Salon Environment

To maintain the calm and elevated salon environment, we kindly ask that children remain supervised in the reception area, in a buggy/car seat, or carried throughout your appointment.We reserve the right to refuse service where behaviour is considered disruptive, unsafe or inappropriate towards staff or clients.

9. Health & Safety

Clients must disclose any allergies, scalp conditions, sensitivities, medical concerns or previous reactions before receiving services. Patch testing may be required for certain services. The Chair Salon reserves the right to refuse services where we believe a treatment may compromise the health or safety of the client or stylist.

10. Refunds, Service Satisfaction & Complaints Procedure

Due to the nature of salon services, refunds are not provided for completed services. Client satisfaction is extremely important to us. If you are dissatisfied with your service, we kindly ask that concerns are raised immediately with your stylist or a member of our team before leaving the salon. This gives us the opportunity to assess the issue and do our best to rectify it during your appointment where possible.If a concern is not raised during the appointment, clients have up to 48 hours after their service to submit a complaint in writing via email to hello@thechairsalon.co.uk.

When submitting a complaint, please include as much detail as possible, including:

  • Your full name

  • Appointment date and time

  • The service received

  • Clear images/videos where applicable

  • Specific concerns regarding your appointment or results

This allows our team to properly review and assess the matter accordingly.Refunds will not be issued for:Change of mindFailure to follow aftercare adviceUndisclosed hair history or conditionsServices requested against professional recommendationConcerns raised outside of the stated 48-hour timeframeWhere appropriate, and at the discretion of The Chair Salon, a corrective appointment may be offered.

11. Intellectual Property

All website content, branding, images, graphics, logos and written materials remain the intellectual property of The Chair Salon London Ltd and may not be copied, reproduced or distributed without prior written consent.

12. Privacy & Data Protection

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK GDPR regulations.By using our website, booking services or purchasing products, you consent to the collection and processing of your information as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

13. Limitation of Liability

While we take every reasonable measure to provide professional services and quality products, The Chair Salon London Ltd shall not be held liable for:

  • Allergic reactions where patch testing or disclosure was declined

  • Damage caused by improper aftercare or misuse of products

  • Courier delays or lost shipments outside our control

  • Indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our services or products

Nothing within these Terms excludes liability where unlawful under UK law.

14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be published on our website with the revised effective date.
